Program Structure

Individual Therapy

Ten individual therapy sessions focus on underlying issues related to drug or alcohol use, family-of-origin issues and life skills.

Education

Ten educational sessions address drugs, alcohol and relapse. One session includes HIV/AIDS education.

Twelve-Step Meetings

Attendance at ten twelve-step meetings is mandatory. Clients receive an attendance card to be signed by the meeting secretary and placed in the client file at completion.

Random Drug Testing

Testing is random and includes a minimum of two tests. Clients also complete an initial history intake.

Referrals & Completion

The therapist may refer a client to another agency or service when appropriate. If a client cannot stop using drugs or alcohol, or a coexisting mental illness may remain after detoxification, the client may be referred for further assessment. The therapist communicates with the referral source as requested, and a certificate is presented when the course is completed.

Program Cost

The published charge for the program is $1,000. A $200 down payment is required at signup. Monthly payments can be arranged, and credit cards are accepted for the full amount or monthly payments.
