Zona Seca's Youth Offender Program is for minors who are first time offenders. Clients are referred through the Lompoc Court system. Clients enrolled into this program have a minor drug and/or alcohol related offense, (such as drunk in public, minor in the possession of drugs and/or alcohol, fake identification, minor in bar, disturbing the peace). This program is offered in lieu of losing one's driver's license and having a permanent arrest record.

The Youth Offenders Program consists of three segments listed below. Program duration requires a total of nine hours with group participation. There is a modest program fee of $165.00. Enrollment must be made within seven days of court or attorney referral.

  • During the first segment, consisting of four hours of involvement, is the introduction into the program. In this group clients will learn the rules, goals and objectives of the program. There will also be guest speakers, a volunteer from M.A.D.D. and a representative from the Lompoc Police Department.
  • AA meetings are the second segment of the program; our clients are expected to attend three hours of AA meetings.
  • During the final two hour segment, a group facilitator will lead the group in more drug and alcohol education.
