Supporting the After School Tutoring and Mentoring Programs, as well as the Say Yes to Kids Programs, the Parenting Seminars provide prevention education by teaching parents how to communicate effectively with their children and how to strengthen their own family. Parent Educators, Alicia Dondero, Ph.D., and Olga Aguilera, MD, address parent-child issues with each family represented in the After School initiatives.
